Coimisiún na Meán has today (10.12.25) placed a public notice in a national paper, seeking expressions of interest in a sound broadcasting contract for the provision of the service listed below.
- Quasi-National – Speech and News Sound Broadcasting Service
The Contract, currently held by Bauer Audio Ireland Limited, acting as a general partner of Bauer Audio Ireland LP and broadcasting as Newstalk, is due to expire on 31 December 2026.
Interested parties should carefully read the Guide for Expressions of Interest and then complete in full the Expression of Interest Form, both of which are found below.
They should also reference the Indicative Guide for Competitive Licensing.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 12 noon on Monday, 9 February 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
