Round 58 of Sound & Vision now open

Coimisiún na Meán has today (16.10.25) opened Round 58 of the Sound & Vision broadcasting funding scheme. 

We welcome funding applications from independent producers and broadcasters to support the production of high-quality broadcast content that reflects Irish culture, heritage, language and diversity, including content in the Irish language. 

Round 58 will include an additional €1.46 million in exchequer funding secured in Budget 2026 by the Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan TD.

Prospective applicants can access the relevant guides and forms for Round 58 at the link below. All applications must be submitted via www.cnamonline.ie.

There will also be a webinar for prospective applicants taking place via MS Teams at 3pm on Thursday, 23 October 2025 – registration is essential.  At the end of the webinar, there will be a presentation from Coimisiún na Meán’s albert team, for those who wish to learn more.  We are the Irish partner for BAFTA albert, the leading screen industry organisation for environmental sustainability for the TV and Film Industry.  

This round closes at 12 noon on Thursday, 27 November 2025.
