Learning & development
Coimisiún na Meán recognises the importance of training, learning and upskilling specific needs.
As a regulator we do not deliver training ourselves, however we are committed to supporting such activities that align with our Strategy Statement and nurture creativity, innovation and sustainability in the media sector.
Media Skills and Development Programme
Our Media Skills and Development Programme, launched in October 2025, supports training, learning and development activities that advance the aims of our Strategy Statement to ensure a media landscape that is sustainable, pluralistic and participative, and that reflects and shapes who we are as society.
In line with our Media Skills and Development Programme Policy , we operate a funding round each year and offer successful applicants funding to deliver a variety of initiatives and activities to support their training and development needs.
