Sound & Vision
Sound & Vision 4 is a funding scheme for broadcasters and independent producers that funds the production of high-quality programmes about Irish culture, heritage, and experience and programmes to improve adult literacy.
Upcoming funding rounds
A new open funding round will open on Thursday 16 October 2025, for broadcasters and independent producers to support the production of culturally valuable broadcast content, including content in the Irish language. This round closes at noon on Thursday 27 November 2025. Funding decisions are expected to be available by late March 2026.
Relevant Guides and Application Forms for each round will be published here on the opening date of the round. All applications must be submitted via www.cnamonline.ie .
A webinar will also be held for prospective applicants after the round has opened. Details on how to register will follow.

External assessors
Applications are assessed by teams of external assessors chosen based on their relevant experience and the theme or format of each round.
