Sound & Vision
Sound & Vision 4 is a funding scheme for broadcasters and independent producers that funds the production of high-quality programmes about Irish culture, heritage, and experience and programmes to improve adult literacy.
Current funding rounds
Round 59 of Sound & Vision, the Social Benefit funding round for community broadcasters, is now open for community TV and radio stations.
Round 58 of Sound & Vision is now closed, with funding decisions expected in late March 2026.

Coimisiún na Meán has announced details of upcoming funding rounds under the Sound & Vision 4 Scheme.

The new ‘Shared Island Shared Stories’ funding round will fund programming that supports a shared future, promotes cultural exchange and celebrates the diverse heritage of the island. More information about the requirements and criteria for this round will be announced soon.

Webinars for prospective applicants will be held for each round, with further details to be announced later.
